A Lakeview man was not injured after crashing a tractor on U.S. 33 Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 49-year-old Charles Schulze was driving a John Deere tractor on U.S. 33 shortly after 4 p.m. when he went off the right side of the roadway between State Route 366 and County Road 88, just outside Lakeview.

Troopers say Schulze overcorrected, causing the tractor to overturn and come to rest on its side in the roadway.

The Indian Joint Fire District, Indian Lake EMS and Lakeview Fire responded to the scene.

Schulze was not injured and was issued a citation for failure to control.

Miller’s Towing removed the tractor and debris from the roadway.
