The Bellefontaine Police Department responded to two traffic crashes in the city on Wednesday, with no injuries reported in either incident.
The first crash happened around 10:40 a.m. on South Main Street.
According to police reports, a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Annie Williams, 53, of Wittenberg, Wisconsin, was traveling north when Williams changed lanes without ensuring the adjacent lane was clear.
The Malibu struck a 2014 Ford Escape driven by Thomas Johnson, 64, of Lakeview.
Both vehicles sustained minor damage.
Williams was cited for an improper lane change.
No one was injured.
The second crash occurred shortly after 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of Ludlow Road and East Patterson Avenue.
Police say a 2012 Harley-Davidson motorcycle operated by Paul Overholser, 37, of Bellefontaine, was traveling south on Ludlow Road as a 2004 Acura TL driven by Jeffery Frey, 34, of Bellefontaine, attempted to turn north onto Ludlow from East Patterson Avenue.
According to the crash report, Frey turned into the path of the motorcycle, causing the collision.
Overholser was partially ejected from the motorcycle but was not injured.
Frey was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.
