Friday afternoon, Christopher Wallace, 46, of Russells Point, was charged with two counts of OVI and a marked lanes violation.
A 9-1-1 caller stated they watched a green Jeep driving all over the road on U.S. Route 33.
They followed the vehicle and said it turned onto County Road 130, almost hitting a guard rail and crossing over the white fog line many times.
The vehicle continued on County Road 130 before deputies caught up with it as it turned onto County Road 91.
They initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver as Wallace, who showed several signs of intoxication.
He went on to fail several field sobriety tests, was placed under arrest, and was transported to the Bellefontaine Police Department.
Once at the police station, Wallace blew a BAC of .244, three times the legal limit.
He was then transported to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office where he was released to a sober driver and given a mandatory court date.
