Kyle Warren was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and tampering with evidence Thursday morning.
Deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a home outside of Bellefontaine.
A neighbor had reported that they heard yelling and screaming coming from the residence.
Beth Church answered the door when deputies knocked and told deputies that nothing had taken place and that her boyfriend, Warren, was in the garage.
Deputies made contact with Warren and observed a needle puncture on the inside of his elbow and he was holding a baggie with a white substance inside.
When asked about the mark on his arm and what he was holding, Warren denied it was anything and then threw the item behind the door.
Warren was then placed in handcuffs.
Deputies retrieved the baggie and it contained what appeared to be meth.
During a search, another plastic bag, a glass pipe, and a black handkerchief were located in Warren’s front pocket.
Warren was then transported to the Logan County Jail.
Once at the jail, the baggies were tested and confirmed to be methamphetamine, for a total weight of 1.5 grams.
