Thursday evening Washington Township Police were on patrol on State Route 274 near County Road 61 and saw a vehicle being driven by Dustin Wells, 32, of Lewistown.
Officers knew Wells had a suspended driver’s license.
Also part of his bond conditions, from a prior felony case, he was ordered not to drive any vehicles.
As officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, Wells immediately accelerated to speeds over 100 mph.
He continued westbound on State Route 274 recklessly passing several cars and attempted to turn onto County Road 54 but due to excessive speeds, he was unable to make the turn.
Wells kept traveling on State Route 274 and as officers closed in on him, he came to a stop on Township Road 21 near State Route 274.
He was taken into custody, and lodged in the Logan County Jail.
Wells was charged with felony failure to comply.
