Ben Logan boys repeat as CBC Mad River Division Champions; Girls come in third

The Benjamin Logan Raiders captured their second Mad River Division Championship with a strong team performance on Friday.

The team rolled 3 conventional games and 5 Baker games.

Leading the Raiders were:

  1. Landon Stoodt – 690 series (226, 231 & 233)
  2. Jarrett Buckenroth – 681 series (247, 258 & 176)
  3. Caleb Knight – 606 series (188, 232 & 186)
  4. Dylan Stewart – 584 series (178, 233 & 173)
  5. Nate Davis – 518 series (180, 192 & 146)

The 5 Baker games consisted of: 234, 168, 230, 199 & 212.

The Raiders placed one bowler on the first team All CBC, Jarrett Buckenroth.

Jarrett was named Bowler of the Year in the Mad River Division with a 218 average and was also awarded the Sportsmanship Award.

The Raiders placed 4 bowlers on the 2nd team All CBC:

  1. Nate Davis
  2. Landon Stoodt
  3. Caleb Knight
  4. Dylan Stewart

This officially wraps up the CBC Season and now it’s the road to the State tournament.

This starts for the boys next Thursday, February 13th, at Roll House Lanes in Huber Heights beginning at 10:00 A.M. Doors open at 8:30 A.M.

Ben Logan Girls finished in 3rd in the Mad River Division of CBC behind North Union by 1 point.

Ben Logan Girls had a good day on the lanes. Leading the Lady Raiders were:

  1. Kaelyn Corwin, 566 series (182, 186 & 198)
  2. Hunter McColloch, 551 series (182, 187 & 182)
  3. Aubrey Zedlitz, 523 series (182, 207 & 134)
  4. Maddy Hamm, 518 series (169, 178 & 171)
  5. Lorali Klopfenstein, 483 series (148, 190 & 145)

The Lady Raiders rolled a 786 series for 5 baker games.

The Lady Raiders Sportsmanship Award went to Lorali Klopfenstein, Special Mention Awards were received by Kaelyn Corwin and Maddy Hamm, and Second Team Honors went to Aubrey Zedlitz and Hunter McColloch.

The Lady Raiders’ next tournament is Sectionals at Roll House Lanes in Huber Heights, with doors opening at 8:30 am and a start time of 10:00 am.

Come support the Lady Raiders in their effort to move on to Districts by qualifying in the top 12 spots.

The West Liberty-Salem lady bowlers beat Madison Plains 2222-1867.

Alyssa Mueller led the Tigers with a 210 series.

Girls are 12-3 overall and 6-2 in the OHC Conference.

The boys also found victory, winning 2380-1649.

Luke Thomas led the boy’s team with a 215 series.

The boys are 10-6 overall and 5-3 in the conference.
