Lady Chiefs take CBC crown in bowling; tournament results

The Bellefontaine Lady Chiefs bowling team won the CBC Kenton Trail Championship Friday night.

The Chiefs were led by Aubrey Hudson with a 653 series.  Chloe Heminger rolled a 636 and Kayla Watkins had a 626.

Gracie Hood chipped in with a 573 and Leyla Johnson finished with a 534.

Kayla Watkins was named the Kenton Trail bowler of the year with her 196.7 average.  She is the first BHS girl bowler to receive this honor.

Chloe Heminger, Gracie Hood, and Aubrey Hudson joined Watkins as first-team selections.

The BHS boys came in 5th in the Kenton Trail.

Garrett Brede rolled a 636 series and Drake Argabright had a 529.

The Benjamin Logan boys came in 2nd in the CBC Mad River Division.

Gage Hamm led the Raiders with a 639 and Max Mannings fired a 616.

Landon Stoodt with a 409 series (219, 190), Jarrett Buckenroth with a 402 series (223, 179), and Nate Davis with a 380 series (201, 179).

Next up for all the teams will be sectionals next weekend.
