Kenton Ridge 4, Benjamin Logan 0
Benjamin Logan turned in a strong effort in the circle but couldn’t generate offense, falling 4-0 to Kenton Ridge.
Adilynne Gregg delivered one of the best outings against the Cougars this season, allowing just one earned run on five hits and two walks while striking out two.
However, the Raider offense struggled to get going, managing just three baserunners all game on two singles and a hit-by-pitch.
Kenton Ridge scored first in the second on an RBI single, then added two more in the fourth with a sac fly and RBI groundout. An RBI single in the sixth provided the final margin.
The Cougars’ Ivee Rastatter closed things out with a two-hit shutout and nine strikeouts.
Brielle Kline and Rylan Norviel recorded the lone hits for Benjamin Logan.
The Raiders fall to 4-5 and will travel to Graham on Wednesday.

Mechanicsburg 11, Northeastern 11 (SUSPENDED, Top 8)
A back-and-forth thriller between Mechanicsburg and Northeastern was suspended due to weather after seven innings, with the score tied at 11 heading into extras.
The Lady Indians came out swinging, plating five runs in the first. Bella Batkiewicz and Chuckie Dale delivered back-to-back RBI singles, Dale later scored on a passed ball, and additional RBI knocks from Basha Batkiewicz and Birdie Wilhelm made it 5-0.
Northeastern answered quickly, scoring once in the first before erupting for four in the second. A wild pitch, sac fly, and an error that allowed two runs tied the game at five.
Mechanicsburg regained control in the fourth in chaotic fashion. With two outs and the bases loaded, Harper Martin singled to left to bring in a run—but a string of three errors by the Jets allowed runners to keep circling the bases, including Martin, as the Lady Indians pushed their lead to 9-6.
After Northeastern added one in the fourth, Mechanicsburg extended the lead in the fifth. With two outs and the bases loaded, a wild pitch and error by the catcher allowed two more runs to score, making it 11-6.
The Jets refused to go away. In the sixth, a bases-clearing triple cut the deficit to one, and after an RBI groundout, three straight singles tied the game at 11. Both teams were held scoreless in the seventh before weather halted play.
Seven Mechanicsburg hitters recorded hits, with Avery McDowell, Bella Batkiewicz, Dale, and Wilhelm each posting multi-hit games.
It is currently unclear when—or if—the game will resume.
Botkins 6, Indian Lake 4
Indian Lake couldn’t hold onto an early lead, falling 6-4 to Botkins after the Lady Trojans rallied late.
The Lakers stranded the bases loaded in the first but broke through in the second. MacKenzie Miller delivered a two-out RBI single, and Izzi Mackesy followed with a two-RBI hit to make it 3-0.
Kyler Carruthers was dominant early in the circle, allowing just two baserunners and striking out eight through the first four innings. Indian Lake added another run in the fifth on a two-out RBI single from Brilee Buyer to extend the lead to 4-0.
Botkins mounted its comeback in the bottom of the fifth. After two runners reached, Carruthers recorded two strikeouts, but a passed ball and back-to-back hits brought the Trojans within one at 4-3.
In the sixth, Botkins completed the rally. A leadoff double set the stage, and three straight RBI hits gave the Trojans a 6-4 lead.
Indian Lake couldn’t answer in the seventh, despite Carruthers reaching on a single to start the inning.
Miller, Mackesy, and Carruthers each had two hits to lead the Lakers.
Indian Lake falls to 4-8 and will travel to North Union on Wednesday.
Miami East 9, Riverside 1
Riverside couldn’t cash in on scoring chances, falling to Miami East 9-1 despite putting runners in position throughout the game.
The Vikings got things going in the second, capitalizing on back-to-back errors from the Pirate third baseman to plate two runs. Another Riverside miscue in the third allowed Miami East to extend the lead to 3-0, while the Lady Pirates stranded runners in scoring position in multiple innings.
Miami East broke things open in the fourth, stringing together three singles—two of which drove in runs—followed by another RBI knock to push the lead to 6-0. Riverside again threatened but couldn’t break through.
The Vikings added two more in the fifth on an RBI single and a bases-loaded walk, then tacked on one more in the seventh.
Riverside avoided the shutout in the bottom of the seventh when Emilee Robinson delivered a two-out RBI single to score Chloe Purtee, but that would be all.
Robinson led the offense with two hits and the lone RBI, while Keira Manahan also recorded a pair of hits.
Riverside falls to 8-8 and will head to Covington on Thursday.
West Jefferson 12, West Liberty-Salem 4 (6 innings)
West Liberty-Salem couldn’t slow down West Jefferson’s offense, falling 12-4 in a weather-shortened contest.
The Roughriders came out swinging, plating five runs in the first behind multiple RBI doubles and a groundout. They added another in the third and continued to build the lead with two RBI singles in the fourth and another run in the fifth to reach double digits.
The Tigers finally broke through in the fifth, using three straight RBI singles from Kiersten Stoll, Karlee Lucas, and Olivia Reichardt to score four runs and avoid the run rule.
However, West Jefferson answered with two more in the sixth before weather ended the game.
Reichardt led WL-S with two hits, while Stoll drove in two runs. Six different Tigers recorded hits.
West Liberty-Salem is now 4-8 and will travel to Southeastern on Friday.
Fairbanks 15, Triad 3 (5 innings)

Fairbanks traveled to Triad for the second game of a back-to-back softball series, with the Lady Cardinals looking to defend their home field after a 13-3 loss the day before.
The Panthers came out swinging, scoring two runs in the first as Sage Wittenburg-Conley got things started with an RBI double. Triad answered in the bottom half with aggressive base running from Emma Martin, who stole multiple bases—including home on a pickoff attempt—to make it 2-1.
Defensive struggles continued to hurt the Cardinals as Fairbanks stayed hot at the plate. Wittenburg-Conley added to her big day with a pop-up single that dropped in and scored two, while RBIs from Kyrah Henderson and Maddi Sines pushed the lead to 4-1 heading into the third.
After a scoreless third inning, the Panthers broke things open in the fourth. Maddi Sines delivered an RBI triple following a Claire Meihls single, and Wittenburg-Conley followed with another RBI double. Triad made a pitching change, but Fairbanks kept rolling—getting doubles from Abby Russell and Sydney Chandler, along with an RBI single from Lexi Grant, to extend the lead to 11-1.
Wittenburg-Conley continued her dominant performance in the fifth, adding an RBI single and even stealing home on a passed ball. Triad showed some fight late, as Kaitlyn Herron reached base and swiped two bags, Adyson Feasel added a single, and Isabella Russell drove in two runs with a base hit.
However, the rally was short-lived, as Fairbanks secured the 15-3 run-rule win.
Wittenburg-Conley led the Panthers with a perfect day at the plate, collecting two singles, two doubles, and five RBIs. Abby Russell earned the win in the circle, striking out six.
Triad falls to 2-10 and will host Elgin on Thursday, while Fairbanks heads to Greeneview on Friday looking to improve to 12-2.

Piqua 17, Bellefontaine 2 (5 innings)
Bellefontaine ran into a red-hot Piqua lineup, falling 17-2 after a massive fourth inning by the Indians.
Piqua struck first with four runs in the opening frame, fueled by an error and a string of RBI hits. Bellefontaine answered in the second, as Brilee Joseph ripped an RBI double and Alayna Boyd added a groundout RBI to cut the deficit to 4-2.
The Indians responded immediately, adding runs in the second and third before breaking the game wide open in the fourth. A leadoff homer sparked a 10-run inning that featured seven hits—three doubles—along with errors and free passes.
Bellefontaine couldn’t answer in the fifth, bringing the run rule into effect.
Joseph led the Chiefs offensively, going 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI.
Bellefontaine drops to 3-8 and will travel to Kenton Ridge on Wednesday.
