The Mad River United FC Pink Girls put in a gritty performance recently, earning a 0-0 draw against Columbus Force Blue in front of a home crowd in Bellefontaine.

Goalkeeper Avery Rodgers was a standout in net, recording her second clean sheet of the season with an impressive 12 saves.

Her efforts, combined with a disciplined defensive effort, kept the visitors off the scoreboard.

The MRUFC defense played a key role in stifling the Columbus Force’s attack throughout the match.

Anchored by Layla Davis, Maddy Wood, Gabby Thompson, Peyton Pogue, and Annagail Lambert, the back line maintained composure under pressure and consistently disrupted scoring opportunities.

With the tie, MRUFC Pink moves to 2-1-1 on the season.

The team now turns its focus to the upcoming OCL League Tournament, set to take place in two weeks.
