Riverside Local School’s Head Football Coach, Bryce Hodge, was selected as a Coach of the Week by the Cincinnati Bengals for Riverside’s week 2 victory over Northeastern.

The Cincinnati Bengals Coach of the Week program awards outstanding high school coaches for their hard work, dedication, and their success on the field and in the community.

Coach Hodge was nominated by a Riverside teacher and friend, Mrs. Tori Hess. In her nomination letter, she says “Bryce actively makes time to visit the high school hallways seeking out his players, holding them accountable to the team morals of being a good person, getting good grades, and also improving the community. He expects a lot of his team, not only on the field but in the classroom and within their families. Everyone in the building knows Bryce’s motto: “It’s a great day to have a great day!” and he lives it.”

As a Bengals Coach of the Week, presented by Paycor, Coach Hodge was honored on the field at the Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburg Steelers game on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

The NFL Foundation and Paycor will also each be donating $1000 to the Riverside Local Schools football program ($2000 total).

Riverside Local Schools and the community would like to congratulate and thank Coach Hodge for all he does for our students, staff, and community members.
