OSHP responds to fatal crash in Union County PDF Print E-mail

highway_patrol.jpgTroopers are investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash that killed on person on US 42 north of Bell Road on Thursday.

At 6:00 p.m. Thursday Lara Jones, age 17 of Powell, was driving a 2002 Honda Odyssey minivan north bound on US 42 with Judith A. Jones, age 54, as a front seat passenger.

Stacy S. Aller, age 37 of Ostrander, was driving a 1992 Oldsmobile Bravada when she went left of center striking a guardrail on the east side of the roadway.

Scholarships awarded with new Ohio Ag license purchase PDF Print E-mail

ohio_ag_new_license_plate.jpgOhioans now have the opportunity to show off their support for the state's No.1 industry and help pave the way for future leaders wherever the road takes them.

With funds generated by sales the new Ohio Agriculture license plate, scholarships will be awarded to select students studying agriculture or a related field at an Ohio institution of higher learning.

Inside millage needed if Health Levy doesn't pass PDF Print E-mail

logan_county_health_district.jpgThe Logan County District Board of Health met earlier this week and continued their plans for possible cuts if the levy request fails this November.

If Logan county voters do not pass the health districts 1-mill, 10-year operation levy this fall, then the agency will be forced to receive inside millage determined by the budget commission using a revised operation budget.
