Washington Township defeated Huntsville #2 in a coach pitch game over the weekend.
David Haley had a good catch on a pop-up at home plate and a solid base hit for Huntsville #2.
Noah Reynolds and Noah Hurley also had great games.

Bud Perry won the Fallen Heroes 50 for the Late Models. He took home $1,200.
Bud Perry jumped out to an early lead and took it all the way to victory lane Saturday night in the 50-lap Late Model feature at Shady Bowl Speedway in DeGraff.
He lapped every driver except second-place finisher Brad Coons and third-place finisher Jim Lewis Jr. (Photos included courtesy of Peggy Isaacs.)

A few of our youth baseball teams were in action last night.
Finals included:
LITTLE LEAGUE:
Zanesfield ran past Bellefontaine #6 Thompson Electric 15-3.
For Zanesfield, Kyler Young, Todd Coleman, and David Nease combined for seven strikeouts.
Tristen Harshfield led the offense with two doubles.
Jordan Scales and Braden Wall recorded two hits apiece.

It's district title Saturday for many high school baseball and softball teams around the state.
West Liberty-Salem's Emily Kauffman did it with her arm and bat Saturday against Blanchester.
Kauffman pitched another gem on the mound and drove in the game's only run with a two-out single in the top of the fourth inning in the Tigers 1-0 victory. (Audio interviews included)

Bellefontaine tennis standout Rob Ball competed in the district tournament in Centerville yesterday.
The sophomore defeated Alex Fields of Middletown Madison in the opening round.
In the second round, Ball was eliminated after losing to Devon McCarthy of Indian Hill.
Ball has qualified for the district tournament twice.
He was Bellefontaine's first singles player all season.
The Chiefs finished the regular season 12-7.
