Francis Conte
Five defendants were sentenced and three pled guilty before Logan County Common Pleas Court Judge Mark O'Connor earlier this week.
Francis Conte, 38, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to four years in prison for robbery with a weapons specification.
The sentencing stems from an armed robbery at the Madriver Shell in January.
A store clerk said Conti entered the gas station, started to purchase cigarettes, and then displayed a handgun.
He fled on foot, but was arrested hours later.

DeGraff Village Council met in regular session on Tuesday evening.
The council wanted to clarify the specifics with the clean-up of debris from Sunday's windstorm.
Councilmember Gloria Armstrong said that the village will pick up branches and leaves from tree damage from the storm. Any branches larger than 2" in diameter will not be picked up since it cannot be broken down in a wood chipper.
Armstrong also urged that the debris from trees are to be from trees that were actually damaged from the storm, not just from fall tree trimming. (Audio interviews included.)

The Bellefontaine Fire Department will receive two 200-kilowatt diesel powered generators through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Forestry.
The division will provide the equipment, which has an original value of $98,800, at no charge to the fire department through the U.S. Department of Defense Fire Fighter Property (FFP) Program.
"The FFP program helps local fire officials obtain important fire-fighting equipment that their limited budgets might not otherwise permit," said David Lytle, chief of the ODNR Division of Forestry. "The budget for a typical Ohio rural volunteer fire department is $35,000 per year, with some fire departments operating on $10,000 or less."
