Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies were alerted to a reckless driver Saturday on State Route 720 in Lakeview.
The caller reported that the driver, later identified as Lindsay Aungst, 42, of Lakeview, was unable to maintain lanes.
Witnesses say Aungst, at one point, came to a stop in the middle of the road, before continuing eastbound.
Deputies observed her failure to maintain lanes while driving and commenced a traffic stop.
They say she had difficulty answering simple questions and when they asked if she was drinking, she said no.
Aungst agreed to field sobriety tests, and failing each one she was placed under arrest.
Deputies smelled alcohol on her breath when they placed her in the deputy’s vehicle.
She failed to complete breathalyzer tests and was unable to provide urine samples.
Aungst is charged with driving under the influence and marked lane violations.
