Five Bellefontaine Middle School students recently showcased their global knowledge as part of the Cleveland Council World of Affairs Model United Nations competition at John Carroll University.
BMS Model United Nations team members Isaac Roberts, Holland Hower, Erys Predmore, Leo Reser-Stanford, and Isaac Merrin acted as UN delegates for three different countries: France, Mexico, and Syria.
The students wrote and debated position papers regarding specific topics to come up with joint resolutions mimicking what would occur at the World United Nations level.
The BMS Model United Nations team is coached by Stephanie Fissel and Sandi Chervenak.
