Wednesday, Bellefontaine Police were called to the Adult Parole Authority to transport Jason Bradley, 37, of Urbana, to the Logan County Jail.
Bradley had been arrested by authorities for apparent drug use.
While an officer was escorting Bradley to the jail, other authorities searched his truck.
A methamphetamine pipe and approximately 1 gram of methamphetamine were found inside a book bag.
Once at the jail, Bradley was administered Narcan and transported to Mary Rutan for treatment.
He was later returned to the Logan County Jail where he was lodged on a parole violation and charged with possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
