The Indian Lake Business Recovery Workshop has been postponed due to inclement weather and the early closing of Indian Lake Schools.
Indian Lake School District has let out early this afternoon and canceled all evening activities.
The workshop is rescheduled for next Tuesday, April 9th, at 5 PM.
Small Nation, the Indian Lake Chamber, and the Logan County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Business Recovery Workshop on Tuesday, April 2nd, at 5 PM at the Indian Lake High School Library.
At the workshop, business owners can share the impact of the Indian Lake tornado on their business, discuss critical issues, and learn about disaster relief resources available for affected small businesses and their employees.
This workshop is open to the public with a focus on small businesses in the Indian Lake region affected by the March 14 tornado.
Before the workshop, survey responses are being collected for a business impact survey to learn how individual businesses were affected and what resources they are looking for.
This will help curate the discussion and better address the needs of the community.
