On Tuesday, Bellefontaine Police were called to a business on East Sandusky Avenue in regards to an employee stealing from the business.
A manager at Marathon on East Sandusky reported that Anthony Cochenour, 41, of Bellefontaine, was caught on surveillance camera stealing several beef jerky snacks while he was working.
It was also suspected that he took $90 from his cash register the week before but she could not yet confirm that he had.
During the drive to the business, officers were made aware that Cochenour also had a warrant from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office for failing to appear.
Once officers arrived on the scene he was placed under arrest and transported to the Logan County Jail.
Cochenour was charged with theft and failure to appear.
