Early Wednesday morning Andrew Stump, 48, of Columbus, was found in his vehicle at a closed gas station in Huntsville.

As Logan County Sheriff Deputies spoke with Stump they noticed several signs of intoxication and that he smelled like alcoholic beverages.

Stump told deputies that he was coming from Columbus and had called for a ride to pick him up.

When he failed field sobriety tests, he was arrested and transported to the Bellefontaine Police Department.

Once at the BPD, Stump blew a BAC of .149, just under two times the legal limit.

He was issued citations for two counts of OVI and transported to the Logan County Jail where he was lodged on his charges.
