County Road 277 in Zane Township will be closed today for a culvert replacement.

The Logan County Engineer’s Office recently announced that crews from the Logan County Highway Department will be replacing a culvert on 277 between County Road 44 and the Union County Line.

The work started at 7:30 this morning and will conclude at 3 o’clock this afternoon.

Scheduling is subject to weather conditions.

You are asked to use alternate routing.

The county’s engineer’s office announced crews will be applying a fog seal to several county and township roads beginning Wednesday, September 21 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., weather permitting.

Roads being worked on include:

  • County Road 272 from State Route 368 to County Road 286.
  • County Road 286 from County Road 272 to County Road 272.
  • Township Road 96 from County Road 98 to Township Road 38.
  • Township Road 51 from County Road 39 to Township Road 107.

This will be a moving operation with the possibility of different sections of road being under construction at the same time.

One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.

You can expect delays of several minutes or use alternate routes.

When traveling through these work zones, you are asked to use caution as there are unmarked no-passing zones. You are also asked not to drive through the wet fog seal.
