A local man was arrested on multiple charges, including Operating a Vehicle under the Influence Thursday night.
Craig Fry, 52, of Huntsville, was taken into custody after failing several sobriety tests and being found with firearms and open alcohol containers in his vehicle.
Deputies noticed a red Ford F-150 truck veering across lanes and driving erratically on the westbound side of US 33.
The truck crossed both the left shoulder and center lines multiple times before deputies initiated a traffic stop.
When they approached the vehicle, they noted signs of impairment in Fry, including bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and difficulty with basic motor skills.
He admitted to drinking a few alcoholic beverages after work and also said he had a concealed carry weapon in the vehicle.
Law enforcement searched the vehicle finding a Glock 29 Gen 4, a Smith & Wesson Springfield 380 Shield, and several open containers of beer.
Fry failed several field sobriety tests and blew a breath test of 0.202, nearly three times the legal limit.
He was arrested and charged with OVI, improper handling of a firearm, and open container violations.
After being transported to the Bellefontaine Police Department, where he was booked, Fry was later lodged at the Logan County Jail.
