Hassell Lodged for Domestic Violence

SHARE NOW

Saturday afternoon deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the area of County Road 57 and County Road 9 for a rolling domestic violence incident.

A victim reported that he and his wife were en route to a church dinner when she became billergent and hit him multiple times in the head.

He then stopped and asked her to exit the vehicle which she did and he called authorities.

The victim stated that Terry Hassell, 57 of Bellefontaine, had been drinking earlier in the day, became irate, and attacked him in the car.

He claimed that she hit him in the face and head approximately 30 times.

Deputies learned that Hassell was picked up by her son and dropped off in Bellefontaine at her brother’s home.

She was found at that location, placed under arrest for Domestic Violence, and lodged in the Logan County Jail.

Hassell admitted to the events of the incident and stated that she has a drinking problem that causes her to get angry.

There is absolutely NO EXCUSE for domestic violence whether it’s man against woman or woman against man!!!! We have to work harder to not only prevent it, but to punish those who perpetrate the crime!!!!!!

Looks to me you just don’t have anything better to do than hide behind a screen and make comments over what the media tells you but in reality you don’t know what’s actually happening behind closed doors grow up

Quite the mischevious incident here. Now perhaps that women would maybe benefit from not engaging in the consumption of alcohol. Go Vikings!!!!

This is just a sad situation. I hope she gets help I believe the whole house needs help. Get it before it’s to late. Your supposed to be setting an example not teaching our Children and Grandchildren this is ok behavior out of adults. If you don’t get help we will be reading about your grandchildren in the same situation. Grow up is what we are screaming be the SOBER ADULT IN THE HOUSE .
