The Bellefontaine City Police responded to a hit-and-run incident involving a gold-colored mini-van driven by Brenda Baker.
She was found to be intoxicated with four children in the vehicle.
Baker was charged with child endangerment, OVI, and leaving the scene of an accident.
She was taken into custody while the children were placed in the care of a family friend.
An investigation report will be sent to Logan County Children Services.
