Several thousand people flocked to Bellefontaine Friday night to see the Hometown Christmas Parade.
The buzz was infectious as children waited to catch a glimpse of Santa just before 6 PM.
Families strolled through downtown Bellefontaine and enjoyed several activities on the city streets.
The event was put on by the Downtown Business Partnership’s First Fridays.
Before and after the parade, free crafts, food trucks, hot chocolate, free candy, and plenty more.
At 6:00, the parade left the fairgrounds and made its way up Main Street through downtown.
Over 50 entries were in this year’s parade including two marching bands, several floats, and Santa Claus.
