HomeLocal NewsIndian Lake EMS Receives GrantIndian Lake EMS Receives GrantThu, October 26, 2023 by April KingSHARE NOW The Indian Lake EMS recently received the Ohio EMS and Training Reimbursement Grant.The grant was $3,866.36 and helped purchase equipment that will be utilized to protect the EMTs and Paramedics when they are climbing into vehicles to provide patient care during various rescues and auto accidents.This is a big improvement, as prior to this grant, EMS providers would have to climb into adverse conditions to provide care in a standard duty uniform.The grant was received in September and the equipment arrived this week.
