A Kenton man was medflighted to the Ohio State University Hospital with serious injuries received this morning from an accident on US 68 North near Township Road 110 in Pleasant Township.
Hardin County Sheriff’s Deputies a 2004 tan Pontiac driven by Kailr Manns of Kenton was Eastbound on Township Road 110 and failed to yield at the stop sign at the intersection, moving into the path of a southbound semi driven by Robert Shenkel of Wayne, Michigan.
Mr. Manns was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
A passenger in Mann’s vehicle was transported to St. Rita’s Medical Center with potentially serious injuries.
The driver of the semi-truck was checked by EMS and released at the scene.
The investigation continues, and citations are pending.
Kenton Fire Department and BKP Ambulance District assisted deputies at the scene.
