friday, a Logan County jury returned a guilty verdict against Steven A. Fulmer Jr., convicting him on seven counts of rape, all first-degree felonies, as well as one count of gross sexual imposition, a third-degree felony.
The jury found that Fulmer used force or threats to compel three victims to submit to his actions.
After approximately five hours of deliberation, the jury reached its decision. Following the verdict, Logan County Court of Common Pleas Judge Kevin P. Braig ordered Fulmer’s bail revoked.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Logan County Jail to await sentencing.
Logan County Prosecutor Eric Stewart and Assistant Prosecutor Nathan Yohey represented the State of Ohio in the case.
Fulmer was defended by Collin Thomas from Columbus, Ohio.
He was indicted on the above charges in December of 2023.
