Friday evening, deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s office responded to a crash outside of DeGraff.

A 911 caller said they had watched the vehicle swerving all over the road and then it crashed into a ditch.

When deputies arrived on the scene, the driver, Danny Mitzimberg, 64 of Bellefontaine, smelled of an alcoholic beverage and showed several signs of impairment.

When asked how much he had to drink Friday evening, Mitzimberg told officers he had 12.

He then refused to submit to field sobriety tests.

Mitzimberg was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail where he refused to submit a urine sample.

He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
