The Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to an accident by Old Field Beach Saturday afternoon just before 4:00.
Deputies report that Patricia Steffey of Russells Point was exiting Old Field Beach when she pulled out in front of Jason Richter on State Route 235.
Richter struck Steffey’s Equinox riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Richter was ejected from the bike. He was not wearing a helmet.
Indian Lake EMS transported Richter to Lima Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
Steffey was charged with failure to yield.
*An update from law enforcement says that Richter was released from Lima Memorial Hospital.
Two people were sent to the hospital in a single-vehicle accident on Saturday outside of Rushsylvania.
Faith Yarger of Marysville was driving her Silverado on County Road 9 when she went left of the center line, off the road into the ditch, through a fence, and into trees.
Yarger and a passenger, Tammy Love of Bellefontaine, were both transported to Mary Rutan Hospital with minor injuries.
A 1-year-old passenger came away with no injuries.
Yarger was charged with failure to control.
