Plank, Stotler Named Riverside Seniors of the Month


Riverside High School has announced their Seniors of the Month for May, Kristina Plank and Dominik Stotler.


Kristina Plank is the daughter of Jeff and Beth Plank.

School activities & awards: Activities include cheerleading, yearbook, student council, National Honor Society, National Technical Honors Society, and Business Professionals of America. Awards include 3rd and 2nd place BPA National Qualifier, Honda Academic Breakfast English 11, and Most Spirited Cheerleader award.

If I were principal for a day: I would paint the hallway walls a different color.

Favorite school memory: Going to California for BPA and meeting my best friends.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: My teacher Lindsay Wyan, my friends Ava Klingler and Gage Stevenson, and my sisters Ashley and Alexa Plank.

Lately, I have been reading: Powerless by Lauren Roberts

My biggest regret: Not being more involved as a freshman.

Next year I will be: I will be attending Ohio Northern University to study public relations and marketing.


Dominik Stotler is the son of Tara and Matt Stotler.

School activities & awards: Activities include Basketball, football, baseball, Business Professionals of America, student council, FFA, and Pirates Advisory Committee. Awards include 3rd team all-state running back, 1st team TRC running back, 2nd team TRC defensive back, 1st team all-area running back, 1st team Southwest district running back, Riverside football team MVP, Honorable mention TRC basketball, Honorable mention all Southwest district Basketball, and Riverside basketball team MVP

If I were principal for a day: No classes would do work, only playing games

Favorite school memory: Winning the dodgeball tournament.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: My friends and my parents.

My advice to parents: All your hard work has inspired me to be better, so don’t ever stop working hard.

My biggest regret: Not trying hard enough in school.
