Monday evening Washington Township officers were dispatched to a home on Township Road 239 about a female who was under the influence and having a manic episode.
Upon arrival, officers heard yelling coming from inside the residence.
When they made contact with Laura Plum, 24 of Bellefontaine, she continued to yell profanities at the other residents inside the home.
Plum was asked several times to calm down and refused the officer’s requests.
Officers requested Plum go to Mary Rutan Hospital for a mental health evaluation multiple times and she refused treatment.
After several more orders for her to calm down, she refused and was advised she was under arrest.
After a brief struggle, she was taken into custody and transported to the Logan County Jail.
Plum was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
