On Tuesday evening, investigators from the Bellefontaine Police Department’s Criminal Patrol Unit, along with the K9 Unit, stopped a gray Jeep driven by Mark Bible at the intersection of South Main Street and Gunntown Road.
The stop was conducted based on a felony arrest warrant obtained for Bible in connection with a drug trafficking investigation.
The investigation, which involved both the Bellefontaine Police Department and detectives from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, revealed that Bible was facilitating trips to source cities where large quantities of narcotics were purchased and transported back to Bellefontaine for distribution.
Bible was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Logan County Jail.
He is being held on an outstanding felony warrant for complicity to possession of drugs, a second-degree felony.
Bible was also out on bond for a pending aggravated drug trafficking case.
As part of the investigation, Bible’s cell phone was seized.
Detectives from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
