Possession of Fentanyl Leads to Washington Township Arrest

Friday afternoon Washington Township Police officers were on patrol when they stopped Carl Dennin Jr., 32, of Springfield, for a stop sign violation.

Officers noticed Dennin showed several signs of drug use as they spoke with him.

K9 Hondo was requested and indicated to the odor of an illegal drug.

A probable cause search was conducted and five bags of fentanyl were found in Dennin’s wallet.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Logan County Jail where he was charged with possession of drugs.
