Quincy Fire Chief passes away

Longtime firefighter and current Quincy Fire Chief, Lynn Davidson has passed away.

Davidson died Monday night at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus. He was 56.

He is survived by his parents Tim and Martha Davidson, his two children, Christyn Hosking and Chase Davidson, three siblings: Joy Voorhees, Lee Davidson, and Jan Lange, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Davidson was a 1984 Riverside graduate. He earned his associate’s degree in Applied Science from the Ohio State University in 1987.

Davidson worked at AGC in Bellefontaine for over 20 years. He was also a full-time farmer for Davidson Farms and a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years with the Quincy Fire Department.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home in Sidney.
