Monday evening deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a home outside of West Mansfield after receiving a call that a man was choking and hitting a female victim.

Upon arrival, officials met with Adam Queen, of Rushsylvania, who was standing on the porch.

Queen stated that he and the victim had gotten into a fight because he caught the victim cheating on him.

He went on to state that the argument did not get physical.

Deputies went inside the home and spoke with the victim and two witnesses.

The victim stated that she had gotten into an argument with Queen because he had accused her of cheating on him.

He then took her keys and cell phone, threw them across the yard, and headbutted her in the face.

Queen went on to throw her down on the couch and began to strangle her.

The victim placed her hand on Queen’s face, attempting to push him off her when he bit her hand.

The witnesses said they did not see the altercation but heard it from their bedroom.

Queen was placed under arrest and transported to the Logan County Jail where he was charged with Domestic Violence.

He has a prior Domestic Violence conviction from 2004.
