Tuesday afternoon, Bellefontaine police were called to a trespassing incident on Troy Road.

The property owner at an auto repair business reported that a shirtless unknown man had walked onto the property and climbed into a white Acura.

When officers arrived, they found the man, later identified as 37-year-old Adam Warner, sitting in the back seat of the car.

He, however, did have a shirt and jacket on.

Warner said he was going to Job and Family Services but didn’t explain how he ended up in the car.

While speaking with him, police learned that Warner had been recently released from prison and had walked from the Oakland Square area.

A homeowner there had also called the police, saying Warner had been sitting in front of their house for hours, and asked that Warner be trespassed from their property.

It was discovered that the clothes Warner was wearing belonged to an employee of the auto repair business.

Warner was arrested for trespassing and transported to the Logan County Jail, where he was lodged on charges of Vehicle Trespassing.
