Monday morning, Deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a home on State Route 235 in Lakeview in reference to a domestic violence call.
When authorities arrived on the scene, the victim stated that she and Terry Tracey had gotten into an argument.
She then went into her bedroom, shut the door & locked it.
The victim told deputies that when she informed Tracey that she no longer wished to argue, he became angry and shouldered the bedroom door, knocking it open.
The victim told Tracey that she was calling authorities because she was scared of him.
Tracey stated that he and the victim had gotten into an argument because she owed him $500 and recently got paid.
When she failed to give him what she owed, he wanted to kick her out of the house, and they argued about it.
Tracey was taken into custody for the incident.
He was lodged in the Logan County Jail for Domestic Violence.
Tracey has prior Domestic Violence convictions in Ohio and Florida.
