The Urbana Lion’s Club welcomed three scholarship recipients to their weekly meeting on Wednesday.
Tate Armstrong, Henry Harigan, and Paige Arnett are all 2024 graduates of Urbana High School. Armstrong will be attending the University of Findlay and studying Sports Business. He is unsure of what profession he would like to go into only knowing that he would like to work in sports.
Henry Harigan attends The Ohio State while studying marketing. He told the club that his true passion is flying and he hopes to use his marketing degree to help him begin a career in aviation, and he is thankful for the support of the Urbana Lion’s Club scholarship.
Paige Arnett participated in DECA, NHS, PBIS, and Soccer during he four years at Urbana High School. She is attending Clark State where she hopes to be admitted into their nursing school. Arnett’s mother and sister are both nurses and she wants to be in a profession that is in demand while at the same time helping people.
The three recipients were treated to lunch by the Urbana Lions Club and spoke to the club about their experiences and future plans.
The Urbana Lion’s Club is one of the oldest service clubs in Urbana and strives to remain a vital support group for our community.
