West Liberty-Salem High School is proud to announce that senior Taran Logwood has been named a recipient of the prestigious ‘Students of Integrity Scholarship’ by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Central Ohio.
Taran is one of 10 students selected for this honor, which spans a 21-county area and includes 40 school districts. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional character, leadership, community service, and academic excellence—values that Taran has consistently displayed throughout his high school career.
The award ceremony took place earlier this week at The Bluestone in Columbus, where Taran was celebrated not only for his achievements but also for the integrity and values that have guided him to this point. Taran was awarded a $1,000 scholarship, which will help support his future educational endeavors.
Taran joins a distinguished group of past West Liberty-Salem students who have received the honor, including Katie Harstel and Cheyenne Gluckle.
He was joined at the ceremony by his family, high school counselor Molly Smith, and Principal Greg Johnson.
