Bellefontaine Boys – 1st Place (Upper Sandusky Invitational)
The Bellefontaine boys put together a complete team performance to win the Upper Sandusky Invitational with 149 points, showcasing depth across both track and field events. The Chieftains were led by Caleb Sechrest, who won the 300 hurdles, helped power the winning 4×200 relay, and was named Male MVP of the meet.
Kaiden Foulk had a huge day as well, winning the 200 and finishing second in the 400, while Hayden Maus dominated the distance events with a win in the 3200 and key relay contributions. Caleb Sigrist added a win in the 110 hurdles, and Terrance Hayes took first in the high jump while also placing in both hurdle events.
Bellefontaine’s depth showed throughout the meet, with strong finishes from Landon Gerwels, Dillon Jones, CJ Butler, and others helping secure the team title.
Bellefontaine Girls – 2nd Place (Upper Sandusky Invitational)
The Bellefontaine girls placed second overall with 130 points, finishing just behind host Upper Sandusky in a competitive field. Callie Shumaker led the way with a dominant showing, winning both the 100 and 300 hurdles while earning Female MVP of the meet honors.
Grace Brown swept the distance races, taking first in both the 1600 and 3200, while Kelsie Snapp added runner-up finishes in both shot put and discus.
The Lady Chieftains also saw strong performances from Layla Davis in the sprints, Sloan Stolly in the hurdles, and Kaileigh Flora in the distance events, contributing to a well-rounded team effort.
With the postseason approaching, Bellefontaine is starting to round into form at the right time as both teams look to make a push toward a CBC title.
Kelsie Snapp broke her own school record in the discus Friday night at the Wapak Relays with a throw of 150’ 7”.

Benjamin Logan Boys – 4th Place (Waynesfield-Goshen Invitational)
Benjamin Logan turned in a strong showing Friday night at the Tiger Invitational, finishing fourth overall with 103 points in a tightly packed field.
The Raiders were led by senior Carter Daniels, who won the pole vault and tied the meet record with a clearance of 14 feet. Also claiming gold was the 4×200 relay team of Alex Hassel, Davis Matthews, Candin Tucker, and Carter Buck with a time of 1:37.38.
Gavin Jordan added a runner-up finish in the 800, while several Raiders picked up third-place finishes, including Roman Maxwell in the triple jump, Greyson Butler in the 3200, and both the 4×800 and 4×400 relay teams. The team also saw multiple PR performances throughout the night, highlighting a strong overall effort.
Coach Butler noted the team handled adversity well and competed hard across the board. The Raiders will be back in action Tuesday at a tri-meet at Bellefontaine.
Benjamin Logan Girls – 3rd Place (Waynesfield-Goshen Invitational)
The Lady Raiders placed third overall with 105 points, putting together a well-rounded performance highlighted by strong relay efforts.
Benjamin Logan picked up two event wins, taking first in the 4×800 relay behind Lucy Wenger, Elliott Butler, Peyton Smith, and Lottie Bodin, and also winning the 4×100 relay with Daylin Varner, Storm LeVan, Scarlett Elliott, and Abby Vance.
Vance added an individual runner-up finish in the 100, while Peyton Smith placed third in the 1600. The 4×200 and 4×400 relay teams each added third-place finishes, continuing the team’s strength in relays.
Additional contributions came from distance runners and underclassmen across the board, as the Lady Raiders showed depth in both track and field events in their third-place finish.
West Liberty-Salem Boys – 4th Place (Kenton Ridge Invitational)
The West Liberty-Salem boys turned in a strong performance, finishing fourth overall at the Kenton Ridge Invitational.
Asher Cole led the way with a win in the 800, while James Brehm took first in the 110 hurdles and added a third-place finish in the 300 hurdles. Caleb Larson secured second in the 800, and Gauge Lee added a runner-up finish in the 1600.
The Tigers also saw solid contributions across the board, including fourth-place finishes from Lance Saylor (pole vault), Eric Hoover (1600), and Casey Boyer (high jump). Tanner Myers added a fifth-place finish in the 200, while the 4×200 relay team also placed fifth.
West Liberty-Salem’s depth showed in the relays and field events, helping the Tigers secure a top-four finish heading into their next meet Monday at the Champaign County Meet in Mechanicsburg.
West Liberty-Salem Girls – 7th Place (Kenton Ridge Invitational)
West Liberty-Salem finished seventh out of 12 teams at the Kenton Ridge Invitational, totaling 57 points in a balanced team effort.
The Tigers were led by three event wins, as Elia Matthews took first in the 1600, Lea Brickerson won the 400, and Ava Poppe claimed the shot put title. Hattie Jacobs added a runner-up finish in the 100 hurdles, while Mia Dooley (800) and Rachel Stanford (pole vault) each picked up fourth-place finishes.
Additional points came from the 4×200 relay team of Sophia London, Jules Loveless, Alauna Kinchen, and Shaye McGill with a fifth-place finish, while Brickerson also placed sixth in the 100 and Makayla Reames added a sixth-place finish in shot put.
West Liberty-Salem will be back in action Monday at the Champaign County Meet at Mechanicsburg.
