As reported earlier this week, Casey Barney, 52, of Bellefontaine, was seriously injured in a single-vehicle accident Tuesday night on State Route 235.
Barney was ejected from his car and was transferred to Miami Valley Hospital.
He was listed in critical, but stable condition Wednesday morning. Later that afternoon, Barney passed away from his injuries.
Barney’s car flipped multiple times before coming to rest on its wheels after he lost control on State Route 235 near County Road 35 Tuesday night just before 8:00.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office and Indian Lake EMS responded to the scene.
