Ohio Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash just before noon today on US 33 at the Logan/Union County Line.
Erick Shoesmith, from Anthen, Illinois, was driving a blue Chevy Bolt east on US 33 when he left his lane and struck the rear of a dump truck driven by Fredrick Stage of West Jefferson.
There were no injuries as a result of the crash, but Shoesmith was transported to Memorial Hospital by Allen Township Fire Department as a precaution.
Shoesmith was cited for failure to maintain marked lanes.
