Nikole Dougherty, 58, of Russells Point, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence on Tuesday evening.
At around 6:30 PM Russells Point Police stopped Dougherty after they noticed she made several lane violations on State Route 366.
As officers approached the vehicle, they smelled a strong odor of alcoholic beverages coming from Dougherty.
They asked her to exit the vehicle and to perform field sobriety tests, but she refused and tried to walk away.
She was arrested, taken to the Logan County Jail, and later released to a sober driver.
During their investigation, officers found a tumbler in the vehicle’s cup holder that Dougherty admitted contained an alcoholic beverage.
