Late Monday night, Logan County Sheriff Deputies responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash on U.S. 68 North, outside Bellefontaine.
Josie Stratton, 28, of Zanesfield, was southbound when she claimed she swerved to avoid hitting a deer.
She left the roadway, struck a pole, and flipped over her 2017 Kia Soul.
Stratton showed several signs of intoxication as she spoke with deputies.
She was then transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Bellefontaine EMS for possible injuries.
Once at the hospital, deputies spoke with Stratton and noticed the smell of an alcoholic beverage coming from her.
She also slurred her words as she spoke to the deputy and admitted to drinking beer before the crash.
Stratton was cited for OVI and failure to control.
