After the tornado that hit Lakeview in March, the village is slowly recovering, and some things are returning, though in new ways.
In June 2023, an artist from New York named Nadine, who has connections to the Lima area, painted two murals in Lakeview.
One mural was on a building that was completely destroyed in the storm, and the other was damaged.
Recently, Nadine has returned to Lakeview and added new art to the village, bringing more beauty and hope to the community as it continues to rebuild after the storm.
