Daniel Pratt, 38, of Ann Arbor, MI, was arrested early Sunday morning, for operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI) after a traffic stop revealed signs of intoxication. Around 12:30 AM, officers saw Pratt’s white Toyota SUV driving south in the wrong lane on North Main Street after a red light. The vehicle had been in a turn-only lane but continued straight when the light turned green.

The officer pulled Pratt over at the intersection of N. Main St. and Columbus Ave. and immediately noticed the smell of alcoholic drinks coming from the car. He showed several signs of intoxication and refused field sobriety tests.

Pratt was argumentative and refused to cooperate with officers’ requests, and was arrested for OVI.

At the police station, Pratt refused to take a breath test and was marked as a refusal. Officers also discovered a THC vape pen in his pocket, which smelled of marijuana. Pratt was booked into jail, and his Ohio driver’s license was suspended.

Pratt faces charges for OVI, refusal to take a breath test and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. He was later released to a sober driver.
