On Sunday, Russells Point Police were dispatched to a residence in Russells Point following a report of a possible burglary in progress.
The caller informed police that her ex-boyfriend, Hayden Fisher, had broken into her home through a window.
When officers arrived at the scene, Fisher had already left the property. However, police were able to locate him later at his address on Powhatan Path.
Upon their arrival, Fisher initially refused to answer the door.
While officers attempted to contact Fisher, he began texting and calling the victim, making claims that he would check into a mental health facility if officers left.
With additional officers on the scene, Fisher eventually surrendered peacefully. He came outside and was taken into custody without incident.
Fisher was transported to the Logan County Jail and has been charged with burglary.
