Wednesday evening, Washington Township Officers were dispatched to the area of State Route 235 and State Route 274 in reference to a vehicle driving recklessly.
The caller stated the vehicle was all over the roadway and traveling at various speeds.
Officers located the vehicle and observed the vehicle make marked lane violations.
A traffic stop was initiated and the driver of the vehicle was identified as Joyce Supinger, 69, of Lakeview.
While speaking with Supinger, officers observed signs of alcohol impairment.
She admitted to consuming alcohol prior to driving.
Supinger was asked to conduct field sobriety tests and refused.
She was taken into custody and transported to the Logan County Jail.
Once at the jail, she refused to submit to a breath test and was charged with OVI and marked lanes and released to a sober driver.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
