Two 12-year-old Bellefontaine children were arrested for felony burglary on Friday afternoon.
A Bellefontaine woman noticed two children enter her neighbor’s house and called the victim.
The victim stated that he was almost two and a half hours away and would head to his home to investigate.
When he arrived at the residence, he drew his gun when he heard voices inside.
Two children exited a bedroom and the victim ordered them to the ground, which they complied, and then called 911.
When officers arrived on the scene they detained each child in separate patrol vehicles.
Witnesses told police the juveniles had been hanging around the home for a few days.
The mother of one of the juveniles told police that her daughter had been to the home previously and told her to not return.
The other juvenile had told his father that he was going to be out riding his bicycle with a friend.
Both children were lodged in the Central Ohio Youth Center in Marysville.
