A two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Ludlow Road and Stonebridge Boulevard on Thursday, resulting in minor injuries for three individuals. The accident took place when Robert Beatty, a Bellefontaine resident, pulled his vehicle into the path of another car driven by Angel Gasco.
According to Bellefontaine Police, Beatty, who was traveling westbound on Spring Avenue, had stopped at the stop sign before proceeding onto Ludlow Road. Despite his attempt to check for oncoming traffic, he did not see Gasco’s vehicle approaching from the right.
Following the collision, Gasco and two passengers were transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Bellefontaine EMS. Fortunately, their injuries were reported as minor.
The accident remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the full circumstances surrounding the crash.
